The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding” said Leonardo, and it’s hard to disagree with that. The consumer insights industry certainly provides plenty of opportunity to understand, which is perhaps why I’ve spent my career in it working with more companies than I can recall, many of whom are household names.

My consumer insights journey has a strong academic flavor perhaps because of its emphasis on rigor and exploration of frontiers. After earning my doctorate in marketing, I continued my academic liaisons. For several years I taught marketing research to MBA students at Columbia University. Prior to that, I was a Knowledge Partner to the Yale Center for Customer Insight helping translate academic research for practitioners. Currently, I work with faculty to help translate the potential of AI into practical consumer insights.

All these experiences have fed into, and informed, my current role of leading TRC Insights. I look forward to interacting with you and together discovering the joy of understanding.
